We're concerned about our own impact on the environment, and as part of that for the last several years we've joined with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and other companies and agencies to present the "Eco Experience" at the Minnesota State Fair. If you're coming out to the Fair this year, please stop by to see us. We're part of the "Green Crossing" exhibit, a collection of four buildings constructed to show how easy and beautiful it can be to incorporate building materials made from ecologically sound and renewable resources.
This partnership is a good fit for us. At Quarve we strive to make green remodeling part of the way we do business, and we offer our clients many building products to help them make their homes and lifestyles a little greener. That's why we offer such things as cement fiberboard siding from James Hardie (made of natural materials). We also install steel roofing from Kassel & Irons, which not only is made of natural materials but reduces the amount of landfill waste because it usually requires no tearoff of the existing roof. Other green building materials we offer include stainless steel siding and rain-handling systems from United States. And we can recommend a variety of building products which can help you reduce your energy use for heating and cooling. That's good news for your wallet as well as the Twin Cities environment.
The Minnesota State Fair is a great way to wrap up the summer. And for those of you St. Paul/Minneapolis area home owners who are interested in making your homes a little greener, stop by and see us at the Eco Experience. You'll find lots of ideas you can use.
