Home owners that are expecting to sell their homes are already diving into more remodeling projects as well as using some of the equity that they have in their homes in order to finance these projects.  Some financial service companies have reported that they have seen an increase in cash-out refinancing this summer, as much as a 68% jump in the second quarter, and it is now at it’s highest level in the past five years. The revenue from the repair and remodeling industry is expected to grow to $300.5 billion in the year 2016; much of that revenue will be due to small projects, such as bathroom and kitchen remodels.

Due to the fact that the interest rates are still at a low point, numerous home owners may be rushing to complete their home improvement projects before those rates go up.
