We're barely into winter here in Minneapolis, and yet we've had plenty of snow and some really cold days.  And it looks like we're in for more. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) long-range forecast:

Winter will be warmer than normal for some parts of the country this year, but not Minnesota. We're likely for a wetter, snowier-than-average winter, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Climate Prediction Center.
